Wired Magazine ran an interesting article this week about Intel CEO, Andy Grove, calling for 10 million plug-in convestion over 4 years. We are talking about your Ford F-150, your Toyota Tundra, your Chevy Silverado, your car or your truck. For between $10,000 and $15,000 (price currently unknown) you can slap a electric vehicle conversion kit and see an increase of 30-50% in your fuel economy. One company, EV Power Systems, is testing a kit that wouldn't change or modify the engine, emissions system or any other major piece of equipment under the hood. So, I guess my question is...
...would I rather pay upwards of $15,000 to convert my current vehicle or take that money and put it towards a new Prius or hybrid vehicle and choke down a new car monthly payment? Couple things, if the conversion kits become very popular and successful, the technology will get better and the price should come down a bit (supply and demand) and performance should increase. But it might be nice to get a brand new car where you know all the components are working together and have been tested properly. What's in it for Andy? Not sure, maybe Intel has created a new chip for the conversion kit and this is a home run for Andy. Like T. Boone Pickens, I think Andy is doing what he can to help the country get off our dependence on foreign oil.

Hey, this is Alex from Arizona. You know, last year I also had a website and I was also interested in getting sales and increasing my website revenue, this is kind of off the subject, but I just came across a company called Hot Search Marketing on a different blog: http://rateyourinternetmarketing.blogspot.com.
Have you heard about them? They're supposed to offer free seo and ppc management services and only charge for leads. I think this is awesome, and if it's true, I think you should check out their site at: http://www.hothelpsyousell.com.
Anyway, keep up the good writing and if you do try them out, shoot me an email or just write a post review about them.
I'll be coming back to your blog
Cheers!

Exacly, right now to go for a prious would be the best option, but as you say, if the technology becomes popular it will also become cheaper and more people will be able to afford it
